Antigone 3.0 Power Management System & Virtual Ground System

Description

Antigone uses three separate Quartz Filters that eliminate electromechanical noise as well as EMI and RFI. The filter system contains no electronic components such as capacitors or inductors, resulting in a non-current-limiting power processor. The filter system is so efficient that it provides a real improvement in signal-to-noise ratio for your equipment.

Antigone offers more than just power distribution. It is equipped with industry-leading outlets, featuring five Rhodium-plated Furutech NCF receptacles that ensure optimal power transfer to connected components. Its aluminum chassis is CNC-machined to accommodate the power receptacles with minimal mechanical friction. The new MQCI system, developed by DR Acoustics, utilizes carbon fiber ultra-rigid cylinders filled with quartz to eliminate electromagnetic and electromechanical noise.

To enhance vibration control, Antigone’s ASSISTS (Assembly Sub System Integrated Trapeze Support) decouplers prevent residual vibrations from being transferred to the casing or the rest of the subsystem. Each of Antigone’s electrical phases is treated individually, enabling more precise control of the electromagnetic fields generated within the MQCI.

All of Antigone’s internal wiring is cryogenically treated and hand-assembled in a point-to-point configuration, setting a new benchmark for power management systems.

The results: Audio applications experience a darker background, better dynamics, more solid bass, and an improved soundstage. For video applications, users will notice more vibrant colors, higher resolution, and a lower noise floor.
